Cultivation & care:

Care instructions

Birky contains coconut fiber granulate, clay granulate, compostable planting pot and plant seeds.

  • Carefully peel off the sticker.
  • Slowly pour approx. 30 ml of water into the Birky.
  • Place the Birky in a bright, warm place and water moderately until germination (approx. 20 ml about every 3 days). The granules should not dry out – avoid waterlogging!
  • The basil plant will begin to grow after about 7-14 days. Continue to water the plants moderately.
  • After another 6 weeks, the first leaves can be harvested continuously.
  • If the plants get too big, simply transplant them with the compostable pot into a flower pot with some soil, or outdoors. The Birky can then be used as a pen holder, for example!
